Big news you guys. Love Letter has been selected to screen as a part of the Narrative Shorts Competition at the 2014 Slamdance Film Festival. What? Huh? I received a phone call a few weeks ago from Anna Germanidi, one of the festival organizers, thinking the whole time it was a prank call. It wasn’t. Since then it has been a flurry of getting materials together, having an HDCAM made (by the cool dudes at Dive Visuals downtown), booking flights, finding housing for myself and Producer Dan Van Wert, talking to people, freaking out, making so many DVD’s, and telling people the great news.
I am so honored to be a part of this amazing festival. I’m so excited that Love Letter will have an opportunity to be seen by a lot of people. I can’t wait to hear the responses, good or bad. I can’t wait to see some great films and crash a Sundance screening if I have the chance.
Here’s a link to the official press release. The line-up looks crazy good.
